Read Killeroo: Free Kick comic now

Among the most popular Killeroo images I’ve received feedback from has been the color piece Andie Tong drew for the Operation Funnybone benefit book, particularly on the redbubble website.
But before this, Andie drew a 5-page story in Killeroo: Book Two entitled ‘Free Kick’, which was essentially a good excuse to get a good old fashioned barroom brawl depicted, and in true barroom fashion, it’s a fight over virtually nothing.
My favourite panel is the one I’ve used as the promo piece for this blog entry, showing Rufus standing on his tail in order to kick a guy with both feet, which is something I had envisioned ever since creating the character some years before.

This story was also featured on the ModernTales website some years ago, for an australian-themed edition of their ‘Longplay’ feature.
