Killeroo come-a-gutsa!

I received this page from Dave Cunning yesterday, this is the page immediately following that splash page of Killeroo on his bike I posted late last year. These are the original pencils, Can you say ‘TIGHT’?
Very happy with how these came out, Dave has a very methodical way of breaking down the panels and constructing the best angle possible for each, it’s not just the first and most obvious visual that comes into his head. And best of all, he takes constructive feedback well, which is something that can be a bit tricky with other artists.
Nice job Dave! Looking forward to inking this baby.
Am I the only one reminded of Colin Wilson’s work with that top panel composition btw?
(which is high praise I might add)
come-a-gutsa

Dude, these are seriously so tight, i thought they were inks (esp. with the sfx already in there)
Id suggest skipping the inks altogether.
