Rough Killeroo portrait

rough Killeroo portrait

Another rough sketch this morning. I find that I get impatient and often end up applying rushed and scribbly rendering that prevents me from polishing it up later. When I get my studio setup in my new house I think I’ll take a lot of these scribbly sketches and trace over them with a lightbox, as I think there’s potential for some nice pieces.

Is there any artists reading this that get impatient with their work and have an idea of how you can work through that?

Sometimes when I run out of time to finish a sketch I hang them up on the wall and usually later on sometime I’ll glance at it while doing something else and an idea will pop into me head on how to finish it

  2. that’s some good advice dude. Will try it next time. Cheers!
